I received a call from D&M Restoration services today. They called and said they could not replicate the noise so I told them I could send them a link to a video proving what I heard. I also instructed them to place the motor in the freezer for a little while to bring the temperature down to about 40 or so.
They later called back and said they heard the noise on the video and they replicated it on the motor after it was in the freezer a while.
They said it will be fixed and sent back in a day or so. He also said that the person that restored it was no longer there because of the problems with their build.
It will be good to get closure on this. Now only if I can hear back on the steering gear box soon.
